(note: the bass sound is vocals, the guitar sound is xylophone through guitar amp)

(This song is about the INTERNET and technology and how it is redefining the expression of ourselves. People present a happy, perfect persona online [particularly Facebook, etc], but it isn't so pretty, is it? They hide the boring, the sad, the emotional, in favor of cultivating a more perfect persona. [Ironic that I've used technology to make percussion and vocals sound like electro-pop, right?] And so, what is ugly if everyone is perfect online? Perhaps the old ugly is the new beauty.)

perfect happy faces everywhere you look
countless pages of them in a boundless book
just like magazines, they're so beautiful

in person you don't have the same type of shine
you seem so depressed but you looked just fine
i prefer to keep you as a friend online

this is the new ugly

if you close your eyes
i'll show you what i'm made of
this is no disguise
it's not to be afraid of
flying high above on the current of love

if we love ourselves more than cold machines
if we rise above the and find our self-esteem
if we stay grounded we can also stay free

everything we do and we everything say
are floating all around like needles in the hay
waiting to explode, be careful where you stray
oh oh oh oh oh
o oh oh oh oh

realistic photos and realistic dreams
hidden from the world behind white and blue beams
real live people bound to LCD screens

in the cloud everybody is the same.......

Not meet the challenge. I do not mind the origin of the sample, the wave or whatever, you are using a tool that emulates a bass. It is painful, because the song is good. The sound is very good, as always.

Nick M. Soma: Thanks for letting us this great song. Challenge well resolved.
