this is Nick's rival for best use of dynamics IMO, this is absolutely masterful - and in addition I think it's one of my favourite Paco songs to boot, really well written and performed and one of my favourites this round. The harmonised lead guitar riffs on the first louder section are great.

The performances are really tight, even by your usual high standards. The weirdness of the song structure inhibits listenability, at least the first few times through, which may be a side effect of the dynamics challenge. I’d like to see a Jack the Ripper musical in which this song appears.

I don’t really get this song. You perform really well, and the challenge execution is superb.

I couldn’t follow the story, and have no clue as to what it’s about. I hate saying that because it means it wasn’t clearly spelled out for the listener or the listener is too dense to pick up on it. (both equally possible in this case) But it caused me to be disinterested either way, and the music or performance wasn’t good enough to overcome this.

All the exaggerated dynamics and snare swells make me giggle. Wonderful nonsense. The confident vocal delivery is great as always. Probably the best treatment of the challenge.
