Once More With Feeling
Jellyfish d'Amour etc. with Frankie Moodle

Plaster breathes
Beam creaks
Possum plots
Frankie freaks
Eyes like flies and
Jaws like claws
He hears the rustle
Starts to roar

And when he hears that rattle
It’s a red alert
And when he hears that rattle
It’s a red alert

What do you want to tell him Frankie?*
- You better get out of our ceiling Mister
Once more with feeling!
- Or I’m coming up there
Once more with fury
- I’ll jam that Brushy Tail up your brushy fucking arse
Frankie – you are the judge and jury

It’s a tiny dog
With a mighty hurt
And when he hears that rattle
It’s a red alert
It’s a tiny dog
With a mighty hurt
And when he hears that rattle
It’s a red alert
He’s the custodian
He’s the sentinel
To the possum
He is the Hound of Hell
No sleep tonight
No dinner bell
Tonight we bark
At a marsupial

Once more with feeling
Come on Frankie one more time
Once more with feeling
It's a tiny dog
Once more with feeling
With a mighty hurt
Come on Frankie one more time
Once more with feeling
It's a red alert
I’ll jam that Brushy Tail up your brushy fucking arse
I’ll jam that Brushy Tail up your brushy fucking arse
It's a red alert

I understand that this is an international site and some may not be fluent in the dialect of south Queensland Brush Tail Possum that Frankie speaks - so I have provided the modern English equivalent. *

The bass and guitars and drums all sound good when I listen for the individually. Usually the upfront guitars are a turn on for me, but here they seem a bit out of place. Level or effects? Not 100% sure. The dog barking sections and that extended outro seem a little better than the others. The outro section with alternating lines hits the challenge for me. PUtting words in the lyric page for the dog is cute but a little disingenuous as far as the challenge goes. Still, it’s a fun idea.
