Entry from Shock Value in Nur Ein XIV.

Make a song with quiet and loud parts -- like every Pixies song you love. This can mean crescendos or decrescendos, sudden loud noises, whatever, just make good use of dynamics.

Nick Soma - Shock Value

This lyric is written from the perspective of someone who has borderline personality disorder. Though I don't suffer from BPD myself, a close friend of mine does. This song was written with her in mind, though it is about fictional characters.
In their desperate search for love and affection, many people with BPD do "shocking" things in order to make others aware of their emotional agony, especially in a relationship. If done repeatedly, the shock value will decrease as the partner becomes numb to the shock and seemingly indifferent to their feelings.
This lyric is mainly addressed to the protagonist's partner, except for the pre-chorus, which is directed at... well, everyone.

So I'm bleeding all over
Your table and floor
But to get your attention
Has never been harder before.

I want you all to prepare.
I want you all to be scared.

Let me touch you once more
So I can breathe and come alive
The shock value's gonna wear off
What will remain by then?
An empty pod.

The story of a tortured soul
Told in every scar
Our demons make us suffer,
Yet make us who we are.

I want you all to prepare.
I want you all to be scared.

Hold me tight in your arms
So I can feel once again
The shock value's not gonna last
'Cause I know I will make you
Become numb.

How does it come
You're still here after all I have done?
You must be out of your mind.
Where will I go?
What will I do if I wake up alone
With no one by my side?

The raging fury in my heart
It turns to desperation
To nostalgia
To depression
To a bitter hatred toward myself

Hold me tight in your arms
So I can feel myself come alive
The shock value will disappear
And in my tears you'll find
You've become numb.

I feel like you always take the challenge by the throat and purely on "dynamics" I think maybe this is the best of the round. It has the big chorus but also those awesome guitar / synth swells in the verses. The vocals don't quite get there on the soaring choruses for me though which I found a little distracting, and so I didn't like this as a song quite as much as I did an entry for this specific challenge, but I did still like it quite a bit.

Ooh, that low vocal! Your lyrical take is interesting—both heartbreaking and disturbing, but somehow retaining an element of sweetness. I don’t think I quite like the dissonant guitar chords at the start of the louder sections. Your vocal is very expressive. There’s a lot going on here, in a way that’s a little hard to swallow at first but which I think will hold up very well over the long haul.

this strongly reminds me of an English language Rammstein, especially in the chorus vocals. I love how you did the dynamics.

This one is hard for me to rank. Your vocal performance conveys legitimate emotion at times, and then a line later it’s conveying boredom. I did like the fake build ups at the end of the verse & in the prechorus, but overall I found myself having a hard time focusing on this. My interest just wasn’t being held. I have no clue where this will land in the scoring. I’ve had it in the middle of the pack & near the bottom. Good luck.

I wasn't on board with the verse until the glockenspiel line, then I've bought in. Soaring chorus with big drum fills and a juicy bass tone, although RIP my ears on that heavy guitar tone.
