this is another one where there are dynamics present but the production feels like it squashes them so much that they don't really FEEL dynamic any more. It's impeccably performed though and I really like the instrumental melodies going on behind the vocals in the chorus.

Very technically impressive, in all phases of performance and post-production. Not my favorite style of song, but you’ve definitely thrown down the gauntlet to the other competitors. I particularly like the vocal melody in the chorus.

Man am I glad you were after us- same material, done with more finesse, and with a princess bride reference? You deserved the win.

I JUST listened to the Mandibles...and that’s unfortunate for them. This blew my mind because I thought I just heard a really good song on this topic, and I honestly liked everything about this more so than the previous song. Like last round, you might have my favorite song to sing this round.

Pretty happy with this one. Those big chorus drums and snare flams are plenty bombastic, as is the instrumental freakout underneath Cary Elwes's Death Rattle (band name?), but the vocal delivery and melody are too earnest to earn me much more than Above-Average Bombast on this one.
