Picture being 12, school just ended, and you're looking forward to grinding your favorite Minecraft PvP game all summer long to climb to the top of the leaderboards. You log into the server & it's love at first spawn when you see your dream e-girl across the lobby. Your new mission is to win her heart. There's some references to the Hypixel Network in this song that I know people won't be familiar with. For instance:

  • The shifting thing mentioned is basically the universal way to say "friend" or "peace" in Minecraft.
  • A "non" is someone who hasn't paid for an in game rank on a server.
  • "MVP+" is high paid for rank on the Hypixel server.
  • "the board" is the in game leaderboard.
  • Pretty sure the rest is pretty clear "friend requests", "parties" & "quests" are the same as most games.

I still have no idea what a "Line Cliche" is, Joe told me, "It's basically a C#m chord and then you just change the base note. I start with C#, then C then, B and then I resolve the line cliche with a F# chord." It's played twice in the prechorus. fingers crossed

be careful of self-portrayals on the internet, lots of dudes can use female looking skins and you would never be the wiser [the more you know]. The breakdown with just piano works well. And the weird al vocal stylins work well in this song.
