I learned of the world
From Alonso Quixano
A well read man
Who does what he can
He travelled out
To defeat bad things
Declare his true love
As things were in the past
Forcing ingrates
To pay their squires
Telling whores
They are queens
These were his Spanish lessons
Honour, Love, Chivalry
This is the way the world
Is supposed to be
Danger comes
When he doesn’t see
The world has moved on
And it just can’t be
Giants turn to windmills
Queens become whores
Kicked into the mud
For believing the lore
These were their Spanish lessons
Spite, Mirth, Disdain
This is the way the world
Appears to me

Guitar a little out of tune but so far not bugging me. Intro's too long. Ok the vocals are too far back and out of tune. Darlin', as Randy Jackson would say, singin' just ain't for you. I did buy the accelerando in it's little Spanish flava. Though you use a chord progression that's a thousand years old, there's at least a couple modern bits in there in the one section. Kind of like the drums, though the claps got old. No points for lyrics though, bleh. Couldn't make out most of them, and what I could make out were uninspiring. Kind of dig that electric guitar line that comes in, substituting for horns. Oh christ don't hold out lines that long with that voice of yours. You should really double the vocal line or something, not that I think you could sing it out of tune the same way twice-- but Billy seems to do it and it (sometimes) sounds OK. Couldn't be too much worse.
