Forum postgood palindrome riff, good fuzzy energy, doesn't quite grab me as much as your R0 song but I'm not sure why. Maybe because I find the subject of the song less endearing than round zero's mass murderer? Still very good though.

Hey guys, It’s me, your special friend
Thank you for tuning in again
Today I’m gonna share with you
A secret that you already knew
You think we’re in a relationship
But I don’t even know you exist
I just need your steady engagement
To be the fodder for my grift
Got more followers than Jesus
More sycophants than Putin
I can do and say anything I want
And I'm never ever gonna go back
To being a nobody that no one's ever heard of
Following the stupid rules that are meant for stupid people
I’ve finally got my rightful place in the media pantheon
And nothing can ever take that away, awaaaaaay, from me
(Palindrome riff)
Hey guys, it’s me, your boy again
Another message from your favorite conman
My critics say I’m a narcissist
But the truth is I’m a nihilist
You think we’re in a relationship
But I don’t even know that you exist
I need you to like and subscribe
You’re just the rungs on the ladder I climb
Got more adherents than the Buddha
More admirers than Obama
I can be and have anything I want
And I'm never ever gonna go back
To being a nobody that no one's ever heard of
Following the stupid rules that are meant for stupid people
I’ve finally got my rightful place in the media pantheon
And nothing can ever take that away, awaaaaaay, from me
I know I deserve everything I have
Cause I’m better than you
(Solo)
Got more devotees than Mohammed
More fan boys than Elon
I can take or break anything I want
And I'm never ever gonna go back
To being a nobody that no one's ever heard of
Following the stupid rules that are meant for stupid people
I’ve finally got my rightful place in the media pantheon
And nothing can ever take that away, awaaaaaay, from me

Power-pop-by-numbers. This is a solid tune and well-recorded. You could probably coast through to round 6 just churning these out, but in my mind I feel there could be slight diminishing returns. No doubt that comment will come back to bite me in the ass when you do a reggae song next round. This is enjoyable, though I did want for some dynamic variation or bells and whistles. For example, it would have been cool if the guitars had dropped out for the second verse to make space for some repeating synth hook, and then have the guitars crash back in for the chorus [/executiveproducing]. Of course, you being a NE veteran, you know the importance of not blowing your load too soon and using up all your best tricks before you need them. I get it.
