THE HANDBOOK
Nuke Skyblaster Reporting for DUTY!!!!

Whenever you are making tongue and groove joints
The general practice is to start with the groove
then make a tongue to fit the groove
Mine has an 8 inch wide cutter on it
and i have installed an oversized bearing to give my cutter about a quarter inch of exposure
The brand new Heavy & Mass Connections Handbook
Then cut the groove
Then cut the groove
Then cut the groove
Then cut the groove
We will provide hard copies of the structural screw design guide

Cut the cheek and the shoulder of the tongue in one pass
And raise it till the top of the bit just kisses the groove
the most common structural details are explained
Like butt joints
Lap joints
Butt joints
Lap joints

So you want the tongue
To be able to move in the groove
So you want the tongue
To be able to move in the groove
So can can get a good fit of the tongue in the groove,
in many unique loading scenarios.
Fast and efficient

The tongues will be done in many unique loading scenarios.
Fast and efficient
Butt butt butt butt butt joints

What you're going for is and easy friction fine between parts,
Because remember, the slats are going to expand and contract with moisture
So you want the tongues to be able to move in the groove.
Move in the groove
Move in the groove

after your initial reaction to this challenge, I feel like you're trolling us a bit with this take on the challenge. But... it's really fun! As with Nick Soma's take on the challenge, I feel like I'm unlikely to find myself desperate to hear this one again outside of this context, but it's a unique way to meet the challenge and the way you've cut up the sample and built the music around it was impressive.

This is great. Simultaneously sterile and sexual.

I was conflicted about where to put this in my rankings. On the one hand, I enjoyed it a lot musically and thought you had a good groove (haha) and a nice ebb and flow to to the music, and a creative approach to the use of your sample, but in the end I had a hard time ranking it as high as songs where people had to write, perform, and mix in actual vocals. Fortunately for you, I don’t think the other judges felt the same way. Is that a bit of woodblock in the background?

I hate you for this because it tells me that I still laugh at butt jokes whenever I hear them. I'm actually super impressed with this song, because it would be so easy for it to be annoying or just dumb, but the sexual innuendo builds throughout, and the two voices help mix it up. It is very well put together, and I like it.

what an interesting song! I really enjoy listening to it. Did you record the vocals, or did you pull from a YouTube video? Either way, you mixed this amazingly. I mean, holy cow. The whole arrangement is so great to listen to, especially in headphones. Great build to the orchestration, great use of panning, great layering of the vocals. And it’s hilarious! I love sneakily raunchy materials! I suspect if I were a judge, this would have ranked high from me.
