I feel like this is a solid improvement on your round zero song and I feel bad that I'm still going to rank it low unfortunately, just because the field is so strong. The instrumental has some nice musical hooks, I like the main riff and while cajon isn't one of the instruments I expected this round, I feel like it's a clear engagement with the challenge so it works for me. Unfortunately there are a lot of off notes in the vocals and some rhythmic issues that just take me out of the enjoyment a bit too much, and not enough elsewhere that's hooking me back in. Lyrics are fine, but they don't really grab me until the closing lines which are oddly compelling.

I enjoy this much more than R0. The parts seem different, and the melody is more sure. Nice improvement.
