It really bugs me that I can't figure why I like your eighth-note based riff so much but I can't stand Glennny's. Anyway, this is a good song, and it grew on me with each listen. The harmonies (both of the guitar and the vocals) are tight and add lots of texture. The beatboxing seems understated at first, but building the whole groove around the song was a smart move. Then there's that vocal "guitar" solo! Awesome stuff. I'm sorry I couldn't rank you higher, but as I explained to Nick above, it's getting really crowded near the top. Honestly, if we'd had another day or two to judge, you might have gained a point or two.
