I quite like this except for two things - the rather unimaginative arrangement which makes it feel draggier than it could be, and the chorus - the high note is quite offputting, I would suggest.
Pareidolia (Psychic Barista)
by Boffo Yux Dudes
Reading tea leaves
Like an ancient tome
Looking for patterns
In the swirling foam
Everyone believes
That they’re not alone
Searching for ghosts
You can’t use your phone
You’re coming into money
You’re going on a trip
I’m gonna find you a honey
Don’t forget to tip
I’m the psychic barista
Sometimes Sweet, sometime low
Pulling magic from chaos
Come see my show
I’m the psychic barista
Master of pareidolia
Taking rich peoples’ money
I’ll cure your melancholia
Am I psychic?
A magic man?
Am I a huckster?
Or a charlatan?
I’ll drain you dry
Like you knew I would
What does it matter
If I make you feel good?
You’re going to win that promotion
You’re going to be a star
Your deepest wishes will come true
Just put your money in the jar
I’m the psychic barista
Drink down your smoke and mirrors
With every dollar you give me
Your fate is getting clearer
I’m the psychic barista
Master of pareidolia
Taking rich peoples’ money
I’ll cure your melancholia
I'm the psychic barista
Pareidolia
I'm the psychic barista
Pareidolia
I'm the psychic barista
Pareidolia
I'm the psychic barista
Pareidolia

Live drums? Reminds me of Nilsson which is cool. Especially in the melody. Feels like this song has a couple of spliced together bits, but maybe it's just in some instruments being quiet right before transitions or something. I noticed that the guitar is not that prominently displayed. Drums really drive the song. Almost a vox and drums song. But it works well enough. (Yes, I know it has bass.) Some songs grew a bit on me as I listened. Unfortunately this one didn't. The vox and that jump in the melody got a bit tiring.
