Sorry for the late post, I only just joined the forum (probably just in time to get eliminated--can't believe how awesome everyone's production sounds--hoping I can hang long enough for some of that know how to rub off, though I guess we'll see soon enough).

V1:
I saw a sign that said the circus had come to town,
I had the time to while away so I went down

PC:
Acrobats and sad clowns,
Old cats on the way out,
Tamers with no whip,
A ringmasters faked wonder,
Colors any other day,
Would let me drift away,

All that noise,

Hardly hide the truth that's all around,

A day to day that's not yet old,

Stylistically, this isn't my favorite, but I'm surprised to find this one so far down in the rankings. The performance is great. Maybe it's a bias against sparse productions holding it back.
