No Memory
By Rachael Layne
Challenge: chiptunes/computer sounds - sounds from SID-Station that emulates Commodore 64 sounds.
I recall some good times
Long nights that touched sunshine
Endless roadtrips in my car
Time changed all... Our faces, new scars, embraces, dive bars...
Somehow I recall it all.
There's no memory that's gonna change things
I can't look at you the same
Somehow I still love you, but I don't know you
There's no memory to save who you became the day you changed
I was under your spell
Ride or die through, fire and hell
My resolve was tried and true.
I would have done almost anything for you.
And I was so wrong, our bond's not that strong,
We fell apart before too long.
There's no memory that's gonna change things
I can't look at you the same
Somehow I still love you, but I don't know you
There's no memory to save who you became the day you changed
You changed
I'll never wish you any harm
In fact I'm glad you came along
There comes a time for moving on
We've reached tomorrow and it's gone
There's no memory that's gonna change things
I can't look at you the same
Somehow I still love you, but I don't know you
There's no memory to save who you became the day you changed
The day you changed
