Your Light No Longer Shines

Don’t make that old mistake of thinking fairies are so special
I thought that way when I was young
But learned
That they are beautiful but deadly
Full of hate or love or anger
Only one emotion at a time
Can fill their tiny shells
She tried to kill me-I hope she’s burning now in hell
Tinker Belle? (thump)
Hey- I dunno
They say I used to hang with her, but that was long ago
I really don’t remember
The pixie dust- it fries your brain
But what’s the diff- they’re all the same
What was her name?
(Peter)
Just a spark that burned out fast
You’re telling me that I loved her?
Look all that is in the past
(Wendy)
Just a spark that burned out fast
She hated me- I hated her
I am glad she’s gone at last
I won’t clap my hands three times
Because your light no longer shines
No need to read between the lines
Tinker Belles dead.
No, I won’t clap my hands three times
Because your light no longer shines
No need to read between the lines
Tinker Belles dead.
