Unnatural Disaster
by Starfinger
-----------
let me see your face
a little nip, a little pinch
and they'll be eating right outta your hand

so elegant, so refined
natural beauty, amplified

and i promise it won't be a disaster
i do this kinda thing all the time

and when we're done, you will positively glow
you will positively know
that we did the right thing

let me see your face
oh no, it's nothing really bad, we just tightened things
a little too much

it's to be expected
I'm totally in control
Don't worry, I'm a pro

you see, science is willing, when the flesh is weak
we need a little more money, but we can talk about it next week
everything will be fixed when we get together next week
[backwards thing]

and i'm sure that you won't call it a disaster
i see a lot worse than this every day

and when we're done, you will definitely breathe
a long sigh of relief
cause it's not so bad

let me see your face
no, there's no way to undo this,
it's a one-way train to cosmetic bliss

it's not what you expected
i'm sorry you feel that way
i think you look OK

this is the new you, you just need to get adjusted
what do you mean your "wallet is busted"?
it seems my calendar is totally booked
don't call me, i'll call you later when something opens up

I wouldn't call this a disaster
you're beautiful in your own way
it looks really natural to me
what more do you want me to say?

I started off not liking this song, but once I payed attention to the lyrics it just grew and grew on me. "Science is willing when the flesh is weak" is a great line. A very believable and sadly-funny character study of an unscrupulous plastic surgeon. I'm assuming this must be what happened to Michael Jackson. The vocals are pretty sketchy in places, specifically when you're singing at the top of your range, and also around the word "pro". A couple instruments come in that sound really neat, then suddenly appear to morph into your voice... don't really know how you did that, but I like it. Use of the challenge is pretty cursory; seeing as you have a line about reversing the processes, I figured you'd tie the backwards stuff in there somehow.
