I gave my sister a submarine, and sent her off to sea
She was married to a Marine and needed to be free
"Thanks so much" she said to me as I saw her off
Then down she went and disappeared beneath the salty froth

It was watertight - She couldn't get out and nothin' could get in
Driving around in her submarine - Watchin' the fishys swim

A year has passed, since I said avast
But I don't think she's rude, having a blast in her sleek steel tube

I love it here beneath the waves in my special boat
And when I need to look around I pop the periscope
I travel near and I travel far, the seven seas I sail
Once I met an octopus and I'm friendly with a whale
Sometimes when I need a change and need fresh air and land
I go off to find a sunny beach with palm trees and some sand
Then down the hatch and close it tight, I head for sea once more
I'm off to meet a Manta Ray, on a distant shore
