I really liked the thinking / scope behind this one. Just some ropey singing dragging it down the rankings. Storytelling in songs is a big tick, although must be admitted didn’t follow every minutia first listen.
3:20 B Mac
At 3:20 the doctor called...time of death.
Flatlined and finished she lost her fight,
Too young to be gone so soon,
Now a body in a hospital room,
Cops piece together the events of that night.
At 3:20 this became a murder investigation
The M O made this a likely serial offender,
He didn't finish, he had to rush,
She stayed conscious long enough,
To name the man that was to end her.
At 3:20 the clock started ticking on this monster
She knew this guy, just like all his other victims,
Befriended street kids for evil's sake,
They were in his home for coffee and cake,
Decorated his home with their personal items.
Now at 320 Belsham St, he's panicked ...he left a live one
He never made a mistake like this before,
He'd gone and picked the wrong kill site,
Too many joggers, too much moonlight,
Hastily he packed a bag and headed for the door.
He hits the road..his heart is pumping,
Voices screaming..head is thumping,
He hears the sirens getting closer,
Now he knows his run is over.
Caught in a clearing it's his last stand,
Holding an 8 inch blade in his hand,
This will be his last night,
Brought a knife to a gun fight.
At 3:20 the doctor called...time of death.

interesting lyrics, I like the rhythm and the monotone bass, but the vocal and guitar are a little rough (possibly the YouTube compression is making this sound worse than it actually is).
