Are you cooking sausages in the background? Americana makes me drowsy. Nice subtle handclapping. I mean this is undeniably good and I like the forefrontedness of it mix-wise, but it's a little been there seen it bought the Dwight Yoakm Cd for my tastes.

the ambient rain track is fine. finger snaps are fine. vocals are supah fine. the odd cadence handclaps are definitely interesting, but don't really distract in a bad way. just funny how they are off the beat a number of times. love the mandolin. i've always been a bewells fan and this is really nice stuff. i think you're safe this week.

Very mellow, ever thought of recording a M&M's commercial? 😄 Is this true multi tracking on the vocals or did you use something like TC Helicon processing?
Wonderful production values. Lyrical content didn't move me as much though

I really like the vocal harmonies. Great job on those. It's a really catchy song for me at least. I like the relaxing solo section. This song was pretty enjoyable overall for me. You might have been able to build it up a bit more, but it seemed really good the way it is. I give it a 90%.

On one hand, this seems like a safe, first-round entry. On the other, it sounds amazing. I really like how forward in the mix you made the vocals.

Pros: Nice stereo acoustic guitar production..with a little rain in the backround (or like someone else said, something cookin) I am surpirsed you got such a low score. I really think this is pretty quality...with some great harmonys.
Cons: It does drone on a bit long, maybe a little variance...besides a little meloncholy guitar solo (which wasnt bad...just added to the drawing on of the song)
The handclaps were: Non-distracting..but were an obvious add on because of the challenge
Summary- I liked it. I think you should have gotten a higher score than you did. But hey, got you through..thats the important part. Lucky this isnt a tournament where you get seeded or anything:)
