I had much the same reaction as last week. Like, this is awesome! I want this album! It still feels like the follow-up single to your Cassettes. This is a great song. Your vocals are amazing! I’m quite jealous! As a side note, I hope you assemble a band for Seattle, your songs this year would sound fantastic with a live band. (Frankie plays a mean bass, just a suggestion). I won’t be surprised if this wins. I will be surprised if this doesn’t advance.

DJRD- What this lacks in execution it makes up for in inventiveness and ambition. The drums and the bass are not quite right. The idea is fantastic; I wish it was in the pocket. The vocals are off the hook crazy good, with lots of passion and delivery! The lyrics are okay, but not my favorite of the bunch. I won’t be surprised if this advances. Good stuff, warrants a re-record or a fix of than rhythm section weirdness. Is it the way you intended?

Undeniably cool, it's got a mixture of 80's electro mixed with new wave punk thing about it. Still not lacking in hooks, you are far beyond just being accomplished. The addition of the extra synth layers around the 1:45 mark is superbly done. I find it interesting the way the cymbals in the chorus make the song feel like it's switched to half time when it hasn't. I didn't really hear the challenge addressed at all though, please explain.
Denni: The idea here is good, but I worry for the execution. You've gone for a bit of a rap-type style, and this totally relies on the rhythm and flow of the track but there are too many moments in this when it feels like one or other of the instruments are getting ahead of themselves and rather than settling into a groove it keeps skipping ahead of itself awkwardly. Are those drums programmed or did you tap them out live? There's a bit too much nervous tension which doesn't benefit the arrangement I feel. I needs to be more relaxed.
