Unnecessary
by Berkeley Social Scene
I took a trip
Through the looking glass
I lost my grip
On a Cheshire cat
Mean caterpillar
Smoking on a shroom
Offered me a toke
So I took two
It was an unnecessary
I took one too many
I'm transcending time and space
But I can't feel my face
I rode a twister
To another land
With groovy slippers
And a shiny tin man
Some little friends
Sent me down the road
A patch of poppies
Made my head explode
It was unnecessary
My perception varies
I can see through walls
Being without all
I found a ticket
In my candy bar
Took a chocolate river ride
That went too far
Purple jacket top hat pusher man!
I tasted a rainbow
And the colors ran
It was an unnecessary
I took one too many
I'm transcending time and space
But I just can't seem to feel my face
It was unnecessary
I know it barely
The answer benevolent
Turpentine is prevalent
