Six AM hangover shock
I'm in the dunking booth again
Funeral was yesterday
today's another for a friend.
I can't see colors anymore,
you can have them Superman
and fly them over us tonight
the asteroid belts in your hands.
I saw all the grays this morning
fought them off for a few years
now they're like a part of me
to shoot me off from all my peers.
Opened up a can of Pepsi
wished this was a musical
where everyone else has a Pepsi
this is not that, this is hell.
Stumbled back into my nightmare's
throne and pulled my sheets back up.
You can save me Superman,
but likely you have given up.

But it's you who saved me
pretty lady
it's you who shook the black soot off
my eyes and gave me
