Notes on composition and challenge fulfillment:
SpoilerThe full melody is in the vocal from 0:05 to 0:55, and is roughly pyramid-shaped in pitch, starting low, reaching its highest point on the second syllable of the word "pyramids", and then descending to end low again. In each repetition, the melody is shortened at both the beginning and the end, with the overall pyramid shape preserved but getting smaller and smaller. Additionally, the song modulates down by a whole step each repetition. The intended effect is that the pyramid is gradually sinking into the sand.
