ALL OF THIS SONG WAS NON-INSTRUMENTS. NO SYNTHS.
Electric shaver, whiskey bottle, soda bottle, glass vase and spoon, garbage can, crushed almonds

kids say the darndest things you might hear- LIKE IRAQ HAS NUCLEAR WEAPONS
kids don't realize the impact of their actions - CARPET BOMBING ALL THOSE HOMES

kids like to play with toys that aren't theirs - LIKE SOCIAL SECURITY AND MEDICARE
kids think the world was made just for them - OH THEY'VE GOT SO MUCH TO LEARN (aren't they cute?)

sit down
be quiet
put away your crayons
and stop crying
it's not yours to lose
it's not yours to break
sit down
be quiet
eat your vegetables
and don't pick on your brother
you need a time out

kids say the darndest things you'll ever hear - LIKE THE PRESIDENT IS NOT AN AMERICAN
kids are easily influenced by strangers - GLEN B, SARAH P, HANNITY, O'REILY
kids like to scream until they get their way - NOW THAT'S WHAT WE CALL A FILIBUSTER
but then we forgive them at the end of the day

Music and challenge-wise - you win hands down. Most of the others did the acapella stuff - you did the banging stuff. And you did it very well. Wonderful song. Very well written and performed. Loved the call and response type vox , especially the "bombs" line. Lyric content did not engage me much, simply because it had an American bent - but I could understand what you were getting at. That really is the only reason that other songs may be rated higher than yours - nothing to do with the quality of the song - simply a matter of cultural connect.

Hey now, I like Fox News...anyways... I thought the music was pretty creative, but didn't really get into the lyrics. They weren't bad, but it's a slow paced song that didn't have anything lyrically that grabbed me to keep me into it.

I love the wonderful production. I really like the non-instrument instruments. The groove is very cool, it’s strange to me that there is essentially one beat throughout. I like the lyrics, I just think you’re in tough company for lyrics with everyone left. I actually don’t think this is poppy enough. A vocal melody hook that was a little catchier could make this stand out more. Your snarky vocals really fit a song called “kids”. Your delivery makes you sound like a sarcastic kid who is repeating what the square adults are saying about you. I’m not sure that was the intended angle. This is wildly impressive, I won’t be surprised if this makes it to the finals.

I like this better each time I hear it. Starts off almost Depeche Mode-like, warming up when the bass notes come in. I like the lyrics, and share a similar perspective. We also share a minor commonality in that we both kind of list things at points during our entries, versus tell a straight story. Great work, especially on a shortened schedule.

And again, the kids serve as a metaphor, though it's a lot more blatant this time. Not sure yet whether I like that. I think the melody isn't that great that it can stand on its own like this. The arrangement is kind of cool, I just think you might have needed a stronger melody (whatever that means) to really pull it off. The build-up at the end is too little, too late for me. Oh yeah, I think I don't like the lyrical approach all that much after all. It goes in the "okay" category.
